Cool Zone: Post 1

A cool website...

For my first Cool Zone post, i figured i would start by posting a cool website from my childhood. i used to spend hours browsing this site as a young child (like age 6, lol) while listening to my 6 early 2010's MP3s through windows media center. I credit this website with being the reason why i first became interested in computers, and specifically in UI design and operating systems... it indirectly caused the pain of installing windows 500 times, various linux distros, and the damn macbooks with opencore patcher... everyone has some sort of spark, and this site was mine back when i was a wee child on a shitty dell optiplex desktop, listening to fireflies by owl city while feeling envious of those who had good enough computers to enable windows 7's aero theme... which my penitium 4 was... not. anyway, this site is a gallery of various operating system GUIs, and although it hasn't been updated since 2 years after i was born... it was enough to inspire young me... i hope you check it out and have some fun with it! i would recommend browsing it while listening to old music, perhaps on an old computer running an old OS... this site should display perfectly in crusty old browsers... like any good website!
